Miss Gay Latina Oregon and Mister Gay Latino Oregon Pageants have gained a lot reputation in the entire State of Oregon and we are going to be part of a national and International system that is why the Directors decided to add USA in the title  so the new title for Oregon: Miss Gay Oregon Latin Look USA and Mister Gay Oregon Latin Look USA pageants in order to have the chance to compete in a higher level of competition. History

  The Gay Oregon Latin Look USA Pageant used to be called Extasis pageant, Miss Extasis and Mister Extasis which was created by Carlos Torres the Owner of Extasis Bar . Carlos Torres did run these pageants until the year 2000. For personal reasons he moved to California.

David Zambrano and Juan Carlos Hern become with the idea to continue producing such a wonderful pageant beacuse it has gained a lot of reputation with other communities  in Portland area and also it was an opportunity to contribute with the Latino communities. We were thinking in the possibility of  creating a system where the Latino communities can still be recognized as a beautiful communities sharing the stage of Portland  with other communities in harmony. David Zambrano was the official choreographer since 1998 becoming the person in charge extending the pageant to a state level. Now Extasis Pageant is called  Oregon Gay Latin Look Pageants.

In November 2005, JC-ZAM Productions the company who produce the Gay Oregon Latin Look USA Pageants decide to create a national/ International system where gay Latinas or Latin Look from Oregon can compete against other Gay Latin Look from a national level. Now the Oregon and Portland Gay Latino winners will compete at the Miss Gay Latin Look  USA International Pageant www.missgaylatinaus.com
